Strategy is not about a complex series of maneuvers designed to bring some sort of devious result - strategy is about winning. In it's simplest form, strategy is your context for winning and it does three things. It unifies people, unifies thinking and unifies behaviour. The fascinating thing I find about strategy is that so many people really feel that it needs to be complicated. It's important for sure, but that doesn't mean it should be complicated. My first career was as an Executive Protection Specialist (a very highly trained version of a body guard) and we were taught early on (and it proved true) that, under pressure and in harm's way, sophisticated things don't work. I've never known a time when so many businesses have been at risk and what I know they need is a way to unify their thinking, their people and their behaviour so that the team knows what it needs to get done, and that they can win at doing it. That's called a strategy. The other thing that is deeply true about strategy is that evolves. It changes and grows and develops and gets refined. That's why big, fat, impressive looking binders full of strategy are rarely useful. A successful strategy fits on a single piece of paper and it would blow your mind how powerful it is to have that quick reference tool with you all the time, in your planner or your pocket, to keep your thinking clear. Our Get Real Strategy™ is designed to relevant and actionable. It can be carried with you so you can use it when you need it, and it's a real tool, not something to check off your "to do" list. A real strategy that actually confronts the truth of what's going on and sets you up to win gives you an unfair advantage in the market, and puts you in a position to build the practice you want so you can have the life you want. Give us a call or email to find out more about how we can help you with creating your context for winning. t. 226.663.9082 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
